Yeonwoo Choi is a Master’s student in the Department of System Semiconductor Engineering at Yonsei University, specializing in computer architecture with a focus on CPU microarchitecture and systems research. She is deeply interested in understanding the internal mechanisms of processors and their interactions with memory hierarchies, multicore environments, and system software, and in applying quantitative analysis to evaluate and optimize these interactions. Her research aims to identify performance bottlenecks and explore architectural enhancements that maximize efficiency and scalability. At GAUDI Lab, she works on advanced microarchitectural techniques, rigorous performance analysis methodologies, and simulation-based architectural studies. Through hardware–software co-design, she seeks to develop scalable and energy-efficient computing systems. Ultimately, she aspires to propose new system paradigms required for next-generation computing environments and to contribute meaningfully to both academic research and industrial innovation in computer architecture and systems.
