Join GAUDI Lab — please follow the guidelines below before reaching out.

1. Define Your Research Interests

You must clearly articulate your research interests before contacting the PI.
Please review the RESEARCH section and specify:

• The topics you are interested in
• Your motivation for pursuing them
• How you plan to extend or contribute to the field

Generic or vague statements will not be considered.

2. Select Your Application Track

Applicants must apply through one of the following graduate programs:

• Department of System Semiconductor Engineering (시스템반도체공학과, 삼성전자 대학원 계약학과)
  This program is jointly established with Samsung Electronics to cultivate world-class system semiconductor engineers.
  It provides comprehensive education spanning semiconductor devices, circuits, architecture, and system software, covering the full stack from device-level fundamentals to system-level design.

• Department of Intelligent Display Engineering (지능형디스플레이공학과, 첨단산업 특성화대학원)
  This program focuses on next-generation display technologies and interdisciplinary design across devices, materials, circuits, and optics.
  It emphasizes project-based learning and strong industry collaboration to train engineers capable of solving real-world problems in emerging display and interface technologies.

Please clearly indicate your selected track in your email.

3. Contact the PI

Once prepared, send an email including:

• Your CV and GPA
• A concise statement of your research interests
• Your selected application track

Important: Only well-prepared inquiries demonstrating clear research alignment will be considered.
Applicants are expected to show initiative and a strong understanding of the lab’s research directions.
